I've been outlining a ton, which is good because that means I've been drawing a ton.  I'm pretty sure I've said it before, but I don't like posting just the outline session of client's tattoos, so that's my reasoning for this post being a bit lighter on photos.... excuses...  But a lot of outlines usually means a lot of colour in the not to distant future, hopefully. Here's May so far.

It's been a while.. again... but that means I have a lot to upload, again.  I was out in Vancouver last week working, but didn't get to post a few tattoos I started before the trip

Day 2- Tattooing Ted's sleeve.  I like green.

 I've been looking for Pyramid beer for an extremely long time. 

 I tattooed Lindsay on Wednesday but none of the photos turned out... they're all out of focus for whatever reason, or way too dark...

Fourth day I tattooed this extremely fun octopus on my friend Geza's foot.  Challenging getting an octopus on a foot...  The last trip I tattooed the shark, excited to get healed photos of them together.

 Last day of the trip was lucky enough to be asked to tattoo another tattooist's knuckles.  Jessica and Trent are awesome and she made my life easy tattooing a tricky spot.

I was meaning to update this thing last week, but obviously didn't get around to it.  Here's a sample of what I've been working on the past 2 weeks.

Put in a bit of work on my days off on the office side of the buisness.  I've cleared up the back log of emails for the most part, and fixed a problem I had with messages ending up in my spam folder.  So hopefully back to smooth sailing for now...  So here's what's new in easy to read point form.

-I updated the Appointments section of the website.  Hopefully it's easy to read on it's new background colour, and the information is short and to the point, causing less confusion.

-Emails are always welcome, however I'll be checking a bit less often, and only replying to urgent messages asap.  All booking inquiries will be replied to on Mondays and Tuesdays, as long as I'm in town and my time permits.  I always do my best to respond to every message sent, however, some weeks are busier than others, and I can only get to my inbox when all of my drawing homework is done.

-I added 6 healed photos to  my portfolio , and started removing older photos.  Still working on editing a few more on my memory card.  Once they're done, I'll add them as well.

-If you can't see any changes to the website, open the Preferences in your browser and clear the cache. 

-These days, I'm also trying to be less obsessed with my iPhone.  It's an amazing piece of technology that makes my life a million times easier in many ways... and does completely the opposite in many others...

Thanks to everyone who's been emailing and been patient as the snow melts and spring begins.  I'll say that summer is busy season for me, but in reality it doesn't really effect the amount of tattooing I do.  There are only so many hours in a day and so many days in a week... so the hours I'm available and willing to work and fairly set in place.  What does change is the number of emails I receive and the amount of time it takes to reply and sort through my inbox.  So please keep that in mind and be patient when waiting for a reply.  I will always do my best to respond to every message sent.  Thanks again!

Quick post now that I'm back from my Chicago trip.  I have a bunch of drawing to get to tonight so I don't have time to address everything I'd like/need to, but pictures are good.

Quick outline for Callum's arm today.  Good easy way to get back into things after getting tattooed.

I'll address this in a more formal manner on Monday and Tuesday, but "summer season" for tattooing has officially begun.  That means everyone who's forgotten/neglected to get tattooed over the winter months is rushing to get appointments right now.

This means it will take me longer to respond to emails, and appointments will be booking further out then a they did over the winter months, and yes, especially weekend appointments.  Please plan ahead.

Remember, lack of planning on your part does not constitute  an emergency on mine.

Third trip to Chicago

Here's the last few weeks worth of tattoos, I figured I'd do a quick update before heading back to Chicago on Sunday.

Worked on Dasha's tattoo last Sunday and finished up the roses and most of the leaves

Did this fun little mountain scene on Lindsay's 1/2 sleeve Last Thursday

 

Coloured the rest of Leanna's pineapple and the tomato's on her fruit sleeve.  This should be done in one or two more sessions

Super fun pocket watch on the back of Chelsey's neck Wednesday

 

Also Thursday, Reid is destroying this half sleeve and will have the whole thing done next session.  He started it Feb 8th.  Awesome client!

Outlined Jackie's first tattoo on Thursday.

 

... and finally, Pete Killed it today and got a huge chunk done on his owl.
